Located on the pristine shores of Horseshoe Bay, the Port Elliot Surf Life Saving Club project aims to develop a medley of visual elements, capturing the context of the bay.

Reflecting the weathered appearance of the lichen-covered rocks, this design employs a material pallet that captures these textural and earthy tones throughout the building while remaining resilient to erosive sea spray. The curvature of Horseshoe Bay, the nearby lookout, and rock formations have each inspired an architectural response that plays on the curve, height, and abstract patterning of the natural landscape.
